Breaking up is never easy to do, although some enterprising millennials are trying their best to have a bit of fun with it.
19-year-old Kirsten Titus is a student at Brigham Young University who thought it would be cute to break up with her beau Wyatt Hall via Spotify playlist.

Here’s the end result of her effort:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

“I think the both of us were starting to feel like we were better off as friends,” Titus tells HuffPo, “so I figured the best way to express this was via a funny and creative way, mirroring the kind of relationship we had.”
It wasn’t exactly a serious relationship. In fact, when Kirsten’s sister Erika posted the playlist on Twitter, it apparently didnt’t phase Wyatt in the slightest.

“I’m not gonna lie,” he says. “I thought it was hilarious since we are mostly just friends.”
Which is fortunate, since the tweet’s now been shared nearly 8,000 times and is spawning imitators left and right. In fact, he even came up with his own playlist:

I hope every gay person reads this because — no, wait, I guess it’s just time-wasting crap.

I’m guessing spotify is a music streaming service? Whatever it is breaking up with someone like that, however cutsey they want to play it off as, is idiotic…

Well, I usually enjoy millennial-bashing as much as anyone, but I really find this kind of clever.
Btw, Queerty – “it apparently didnt’t [sic] phase [sic] Wyatt in the slightest.” – the word in this case is faze. He’s not going through phases like the moon or something. He’s unfazed.
And no I’m not just being a b!tch. You guys apparently drink too much.
