Hailing from Canada, Ria Mae has gained critical notice for her unique voice and songs that touch on the tenderness of relationships with a queer twist. Maybe it should come as no surprise then that Ria is also lesbian.
Her gorgeous new anthem, Hold Me, deals with the current political tumult which has consumed the headlines.
The accompanying video depicts her yearning for the simplicity of childhood while living in a world of pain and fear.
