Political nepo baby Sarah Huckabee Sanders went on right wingnut Dan Bongino’s podcast this week, where she talked about how people from blue states, California in particular, have been flocking to Arkansas over the past few years because it’s such a wonderful utopia for people with conservative values.
“Our economy is strong. Our state is doing well. And you know what? We don’t let the government dictate every minute and every second of your life here in our state,” the gay-hating governor said. “We believe not only in individual and personal freedom, but in making sure we do things that protect those freedoms.”
This, of course, is completely false.
Not only is Arkansas the fourth poorest state in the nation with a mounting affordable housing crisis and massive food insecurity, but since taking office in January, Sanders has signed several different laws controlling people’s behavior–from banning books and the gender-neutral term “Latinx”, to policing what bathrooms trans and nonbinary people can use, to restricting teachers from talking about race, sexual orientation, or gender identity in the classroom.
Now, here comes the kicker.
Speaking to Bongino, Sanders continued, “We have seen people from all over the country, blue states in particular, flooding into our state.”
She went on to say that, while running for governor, she traveled to all 75 counties in Arkansas and, in every single one, she met people who had moved there from out of state.
“Predominantly California,” she claimed. “And the message I gave them was very simple. Welcome to Arkansas. Don’t forget why you left California.”
Sanders added that she’s “excited” to welcome more people into the state–provided they are cisgender, straight, preferably white, Christian, and Republican.
“Our door is open,” she said. “We’re going to keep taking them as long as they remember why they left those blue states in the first place.”
Here’s how people, including many residents of Arkansas, responded when Sanders shared a soundbite from her interview with Bongino on Twitter today…

The newcomers came for cheap houses and online work. They did not come here because of our government that looms larger this year than any year I have lived here!

If you believe in freedom, why are you putting all the restricted laws in place. Sounds like a dictatorship to me.

Yesterday, Sanders declared it “National Day of Prayer” in Arkansas and called for all citizens to get down on their knees and pray.
“Public prayer is a long-standing and significant tradition of American history,” she said in a press release. “Now, therefore, I, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, acting under the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Arkansas, do hereby proclaim May 4th, 2023, as National Day of Prayer in Arkansas and urge the citizens of the state to recognize this event and participate fittingly in its observance.”
Hmmmm. What was that Sanders just said about “individual and personal freedom” and not letting the government “dictate every minute and every second of your life” again?

Her first action as a governor was to beg the Federal Government and Blue states to bail out her broke state.
dbmcvey
I guess Arkansas is doing really well as far as education and healthcare if she has all this time to concentrate on this.
abfab
It’s one big DIVINE STATE! I’ve never been, however, I loved watching P. Allen Smith on PBS and I loved the Clintons. Still do.
Kangol2
I’ve been to Arkansas. It’s no great shakes. Though the Walton family’s boutique museum is very nice.
JaredNorthcutt30
Could we also talk about the failed progressive policies? A real-life example: The vast majority of my ex-roommates at the Los Angeles homeless shelter? They are still entrenched in the same systemic poverty cycles. Good ol’ Gavin!
dbmcvey
What does that have to do with “failed progressive policies?” There are homeless people in Arkansas too.
JaredNorthcutt30
how much money has gavin wasted on fixing homelessness over a decade? that’s a failure by most measured metrics. homelessness is higher than it’s ever been with people overdosing in front of you on the daily. does this happen in little rock? did i miss something?
dbmcvey
Gavin Newsome has been Governor for four years. Not great research there.
JaredNorthcutt30
Did you read my comments with context clues? I said this has been Gavin’s bread-and-butter going back to his San Fran Mayor days. Millions of dollars have been wasted. Same results. Please read the sentences before formulating a response. It’s not a good look for you.

Oh jared you are so full of it. we know you are a n entitled little white boy pretending to have suffered so under blue state socialism the trouble is it is all a lie just like Sarah depo dumbass Saunders or whatever it is
JaredNorthcutt30
I find it odd how people who can’t engage in debate want to namecall. That just shows most people you lost the debate. It’s very elementary level. Don’t be mad that Trump is starting to trounce Biden in 2024 matchups with the Washington Post. Debate your ideas better. That’s my advice.
abfab
Debating and Debate Teams are chosen based on levels of intelligence, age and GPA. We’ll debate with you when you have proven that you can qualify.
JaredNorthcutt30
You sad that Trump is leading Biden now, bro? Go cry about it with some Internet sass.
barryaksarben
Name calling is the ONLY thing trump has ever NOT failed at. No one debates idiots who have zero factual information just bullet points from tuckers show. Where in cali did you live exactly and for how long and where did you grow up and name one guy you have had sex with because I assume you are here to troll and are no more gay than your orange god
JaredNorthcutt30
First off, I’m not voting for Trump. Secondly, I was dumped in an airbnb for trans women and ex-cons by a prominent trans agency in Los Angeles. I realize that self-reflection is uncomfortable for liberals. Instead of blaming Trump for all of your problems, at a certain point, you need to look inward.
Den
“homelessness is higher than it’s ever been with people overdosing in front of you on the daily. does this happen in little rock? did i miss something?”
Arkansas has the 8th largest drug problem in the US, California does not even rank in the top 20. And Little rock has a significant drug use problem. It ranks lower in homelessness, but significantly higher in poverty than California. Arkansas has the highest violent crime rate (7.1 per 1,000 people) and the fifth-highest property crime rate (26.5) in the US. Clearly you did miss something. Something called connection to reality.
So yeah, lets talk about progressive policies…they work much better than the policies of the brainless right. Huckabee is governor of one of the worst states in the union and spends the state’s time and money on stupid culture war issues. You seem to support that.
Den
“I realize that self-reflection is uncomfortable for liberals. ”
Apparently a connection to reality, an understanding of statistics vs, anecdote, and a basic understanding of life in general are way more uncomfortable for right wingers like you.
JaredNorthcutt30
The point you fail to grasp is the open drug zone deaths in Los Angeles. It drastically lowers the quality of life and residents can see that with their own eyes. According to the Justice Dept, Los Angeles ranks among the largest ports of drugs in this country. If progressive policies entail defunding the police, this is a quality of life issue that liberals can’t even address in their own cities.
JaredNorthcutt30
And I’m not sure where you’re getting your stats. But according to American Addict Centers, Fresno Ca. ranks among the highest drug use cities. Again, the issue you fail to grasp is the lack of prosecution for drug-related crimes. And that’s in part due to the empty sloganeering of Defund the Police and other failed left-wing movements of the past ten years.
JaredNorthcutt30
When we look at the stats for most violent crimes, wouldn’t you know that it’s cities run by Democrats. And that should say something to the American voter. It says to me, “Despite their gun control talk, the Democrats don’t even know how to enact policies in their own damn cities. How does this work for an entire nation?” As an independent voter, that’s exactly how it reads to me.
JaredNorthcutt30
They are also homeless and trans. Is this a trans safe haven state? I honestly can’t tell.
abfab
How do you afford internet services?
JaredNorthcutt30
I did what the conservatives recommended. Pulling myself up by the bootstraps. Depending on government to solve my problems? It ain’t workin’ in SoCal. Your ideology is deeply flawed.
abfab
I’m sorry. Good luck.
dbmcvey
So why don’t you welcome them into your home?
There are homeless trans people in Arkansas too, and there will be more after all these laws.
JaredNorthcutt30
that’s a question you could ask the libs here in california. the moneyed white gay liberals this site loves so much. and i did. we let a homeless woman sleep in our kitchen.
JaredNorthcutt30
By the way, my roommate is a Latina for Trump. She welcomes the homeless in her apartment. Drive to WeHo. Poll the white moneyed liberal gays on this issue. Let me know how it works out for you.
Diplomat
Allowing the homeless in your home there is something you may want to consider. I have a friend with a big heart. He let a homeless couple into his home. They ended up beating him and declared squatter rights and would not leave while continually doing drugs at his expense via threats. He called the police and an attorney and that didn’t help. His landlord finally had to kick him and the homeless people out of his house. He’s now broke with serious ptsd. Might want to think b4 you act on this issue. It has its side effects.
barryaksarben
Lol you are son fkn ridiculous. oh the threat of those millions on millions of trans people out to WHAT? LIVE THEIR LIVES. THERE ARENT THAT MANY TRANS PEOPLE BUT YOU MAGA idiots act like they are everywhere trying to fool young white men into having sex with them. trust me they do not want anything you have. Frightened white guys who are so insecure in their sexuality they attack anything that doesn’t fit to what they think sex is. You are pathetic and no one here is taking you at all seriously. You are a JOKE dude
barryaksarben
Arkansas has homeless and Ill bet that Sarah has given ZERO to helping those people in her state not to mention all the christian love she spews on the trans people in her little fiefdom of redneck idiots
JaredNorthcutt30
You’re just yelling into The Internet. Very Trump-like.
JaredNorthcutt30
I don’t have a problem with adult trans people living their lives. I do have a problem with medicalization being foisted on non-consenting children who do not possess the mental capacity for the complicated nuances of trans medicalization. I realize it’s easier for you to label MAGA this and MAGA that. And yell into the Internet (like Trump). I might vote Republican because they’re concerned at addressing some of these issues that I went through. Democrats? “Yay, girl! You go, Miss Thang!” But hey, keep labeling MAGA, MAGA, MAGA and screaming into the void like Trump. It’s a good look for you, girl.
Mister P
The homeless problem exploded with programs initiated by Reagan. That is when we stopped investing in people and America in general.
If actually implemented progressive policies no one would be homeless and no one would have hundreds of billions either.
abfab
The homeless problem began when those people said ”no Mary, no Joe, go elsewhere and have your baby.”………….the rest is history.
JaredNorthcutt30
A former left-winger here. I don’t disagree with you. I’ll give you another real-life example from today. A homeless person walking into traffic. I called 911. Based on past experiences, I was betting on a two-hour response window. The cops arrived and essentially shooed the homeless person down the sidewalk. California kicks the can down the road. Gavin Newsom has poured buttloads of money into the problem since he was mayor of San Francisco. At a certain point, liberals need self-reflection on this issue. Given that Gavin Newsom is in the back pocket of landlords, that’s a point of contention that needs to be addressed. You need to stop lionizing these people and getting real.
BrownFriedRice
@JaredNorthcutt30 Democrats are not liberal, especially ones like Gavin Newsom. From the perspective of someone who’s lives In Canada, Europe, or Asiana, Democrats are a centre-right party. They don’t even support basic social programs like universal healthcare or public housing.
JaredNorthcutt30
Agreed. The two parties are the same barring Trump. That’s why I started voting for Republicans. Better economic policies, same capitalistic core.
Vince
JaredNorthcutt30
The two parties are not the same. Democrats want to help people. Republicans only want to help those at the top.
Just look at their policies.
Kangol2
Jared Northcutt, I grasp that you had a very bad experience with your transition. You now seem to be attached the right-wing Republican Party, which is rabidly anti-trans. Your personal experience is your own, but I do hope you see that they do not really care about trans people or de-transitioning people, except to use you to attack other trans people.
That said, there is a clear difference between the two parties in terms of economics. The Democrats far and away have the better track record over the last 100 years. In my lifetime, every single recession or depression has occurred under a Republican president, and repeatedly the Democrat who follows–Carter, Clinton, Obama, Biden–has to pull the country out of a recession or a near-depression (cf. under W. Bush & Don the Con), leaving the country in an economically better state.
I think it’s telling that DESPITE the extremely high interest rate monetary policy Jerome Powell, a Republican (appointed by George W. Bush), has engaged in, following a severe economic crisis under Don the Con (2020-2021), the US economy remains resilient, keeps growing, and has seen wage growth year-over-year, as well as the highest levels of employment (over 160 million), increased wage force participation (now up to 62%), and the lowest levels of unemployment since 1969 (as of May 1, 2023), the lowest Black unemployment levels (as of May 1, 2023), the lowest levels of Asian American and women’s unemployment (as of May 1, 2023), and so on. This is DESPITE GOP intransigence on the economy, threats not to address the debt ceiling crisis, massive job losses under Don the Con, etc. You may not want to believe and certainly won’t hear about this on FoxNews, but just look at the data, and compare the tenures of the last 6-7 Democratic presidential administrations vs. the last 6-7 Republicans. The facts are clear.
JaredNorthcutt30
Do they really want to help people at the top or is that a simplistic bumper sticker slogan you trot out? Cory Booker is one of the top receivers of Big Pharma money. Chuck Schumer received $733,367 from lobbyists. As a matter of fact, Democrats received 14 spots in the Big Money Lobbyist category published on Open Secrets. So no, the whole thing about helping the little people is a fiction you choose to believe.
JaredNorthcutt30
The facts don’t lie. In order for your metrics to be fully effective, you need to consider complete Democratic-controlled branches of government vs. complete Republican-controlled branches of government. The average annual inflation rate during a Republican Clean Sweep is 0.55%. The average annual inflation rate for a Democrat Clean Sweep, 5.8% – that’s ten times higher than the Republican rate. And I vaguely remember Democrats wanting to write more blank checks at the beginning of the pandemic, which is why we’re in this inflation mess to begin with.
abfab
I think the figure is closer to 5.9%.
JaredNorthcutt30
And another hard fact: The unemployment rate is better in red states. The blue states were on COVID lockdown and didn’t have any ACTUAL POLICIES in place to help working-class people go back to work. Home cancellation rates are the highest they’ve been since the start of the pandemic. And as we lurch to the next housing bubble, have we seen any movement from Uncle Joe on this issue? Inflation is up about 8% and wages are up about 5%. So that means families in real terms are 3% poorer than they were when Biden came into office.
JaredNorthcutt30
And also: The Republicans do care about the needs of de-transitioning folks moreso than the Democrats. Yes, I am a political cudgel. At the same time, the Republicans are more compelled to scrutinize licensed clinical social workers who peddle ‘affirm everyone, yay!’ ideology as opposed to being adequately trained in sexual trauma. Megyn Kelly said it best the other day: “The Democrats just want to say, ‘You go, girl!’ I nodded my head. A true story from my life.
abfab
And there it is. Meghan Kelly. The bottom has fallen out sir GOP TROLL. The jig is up and your shtick is officially null and void. You would make a great replacement for your pal Tucker Carlson.
dbmcvey
JaredNorthcutt is just another liar. He’s bringing up all these issues but he really has no interest in solving them. He’s just trying to distract from the issue.
JaredNorthcutt30
All because I watched a Megyn Kelly YouTube video on de-transitioners the other day? OK. Sure.
JaredNorthcutt30
Oh. I want to solve it. That’s why I bring it up. Interesting how you can’t debate my points. That’s on you.
dbmcvey
No, you don’t want to solve it. You just bring it up to concern troll. But I wouldn’t be surprised if you were a hippy, extremists tend to go from one extreme to another.
FreddieW
Yes, she’s horrible, no argument there. But “massive food insecurity”? You mean like the homeless populations of California?
My dad lives in Arkansas, and I haven’t noticed any starving people when I visit him every year at Christmas.
Maybe try to sort out your legitimate disdain for Sarah Sanders from your illegitimate disdain for the South. There are lots of gays down here. Even that Clinton toadie who ran HRC is from Hope AR, Bill’s hometown.
Kangol2
You need to look around a bit more.
The poverty rate in Arkansas was 16.3% in 2021.
In California it was 12.3% in 2021.
California is a net contributor to the US economy, and the fifth largest economy in the world. California’s GDP alone is $3.59 trillion. There are 9.3 MILLION people in Los Angeles County alone.
Arkansas is a net recipient of federal funds, with a GDP of $165 billion. It ranks 45th of the 50 states & major US territories. There are only 3.026 million people in the entire state of Arkansas.
abfab
You don’t notice them at Christmas because it’s freezing cold out, dark and everyone is busy inside evangelizing.
Disdain? You’re being too kind………..
abfab
And Freddie, there may be Gays down there but not enough to change the laws and vote for intelligent lovable people.
Gay does not always equal bright. Run ARK Gay people! Make room for The Californians!
dbmcvey
The difference is, in California we’re not passing laws about people’s personal choices.
JaredNorthcutt30
Hell, most of the people I know in LA are food insecure.
Kangol2
Arkansas is far worse off than California by a mile!
Not. Even. Close.
But Arkansas sure gobbles up money from California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Washington State, Oregon, Colorado, Illinois, Virginia, etc.
abfab
Then Jared, you know the wrong people. LA had fabulous hoods with millions of dynamic and creative/gay people. And they eat.
JaredNorthcutt30
I guess I know the people of color y’all supposedly care about as opposed to wealthy white gays. Then again, this is Queerty!
abfab
You know very little.
JaredNorthcutt30
Maybe you should extract your head out of the WeHo crowd and sniff around with working-class people of color. I mean, your party DOES pretend to a crap about them, yes?
abfab
Yes, you’re exactly right. You’re always right.
dbmcvey
So Jarod, what are you doing for all these people you’re so concerned about? Voting Republican won’t do anything.
JaredNorthcutt30
Voting Republican does affect me because they want policies in place so gays with internalized homophobia don’t go through the rungs of gender transition while progressive clap like circus seals. Until y’all can’t start addressing the shortcomings of our medical system, they will be getting my vote. It’s an issue that affects me. Like everyone else in America. I vote on stuff that affects me personally.
abfab
You vote like that because you are a selfish individual. We get it. No one else exists, you’re a true partiot and an asshole republican troll. Admit it, then hurry home and stay there.
And trash the new name……we know who you are…..we have our ways.
dbmcvey
You don’t know anyone in LA.
JaredNorthcutt30
I live in LA.
abfab
Louisiana…that explains it.
barryaksarben
again you are so full of it. just today you called 911 about a homeless in. traffic. dumbest lie ever. Where do you live . I lived in weho for many years in the 80s and places change most gay ghettos are no more because we take care of our places even if we rent and all the straight young marrieds follow where ever we go because we make life better unlike ever republican who ever existed. And the above poster has taken on the qualities of Trump, a man he openly disdains. Screaming into the void? Check. Claiming ‘fake news’ over engaging in debate? Check. Name-calling to avoid debate? Check. When I said seek therapy assistance, I meant it. Address those issues, my dude.
novadude
@JaredNorthcutt30: That’s why I started voting for Republicans. Better economic policies, same capitalistic core.
Better in what possible way? The largest budget deficits for many decades have been under R administrations. So you must mean tax cuts that add debt and only benefit the wealthy.
And we’re the ones who need to get real?
You are laughable.
abfab
northern virginia….she is weloming you to the state. Go.
JaredNorthcutt30
As mentioned above, the largest inflation metrics occur under Democratic administrations. As a political canvasser, I’ve talked to a lot of working-class individuals. Former liberals like myself. I’ve got news for you. They are fed up with high gas prices and high groceries and good ol Democrats who don’t so much as lift a finger. Talk to working-class people. I know the people on here want to poll the WeHo gays. Talk to real working-class people for a change.
JaredNorthcutt30
And yes, you do need to get real. You support politicians like Gavin Newsom and Hillary Clinton who are in the back pocket of landlords and real estate developers and then have the audacity to whine about the blighted working class concerns. It’s time to get real.
dbmcvey
As though Republicans do anything about homelessness and food insecurity at all. Jared’s a concern troll. He doesn’t really care about these issues, he just thinks bringing them up will throw off the libs.
JaredNorthcutt30
The legislative Republicans in California want more accountability on how these programs are serving the people they allegedly support. When Gavin Newsom has flushed millions down the toilet on his failed homelessness policies, accountability to government boards is crucial. That’s one thing the California Republicans want while Gavin drops another duce down the commode.
dbmcvey
I believe he might have been a hippy (though hippies were apolitical). Extremists go from one extreme to the other.
Diplomat
JaredN,
Bottom line both parties have their faults. But we are now in different times being at the foot of an autocracy. Can you really justify Trump for 4 more years or possibly a lifetime of he were to change laws once President? Is this “getting real” in your book?
abfab
Sarah Sanders is very hippy. (wink wink DeeBee)
JaredNorthcutt30
As I’ve said before, when it comes to Trump versus Biden, I’m voting for the third-party candidate or not voting. The choice is a guy sending us into a recession versus an egomaniac. No thank you. Both parties need to pick better candidates. Said it in 2016, saying it now.
barryaksarben
they NEVER admit to the HUGE deficits that the GOP has historically caused and they NEVER pass laws that help anyone who isn’t already rich.
Kangol2
@Jared, TRUMP sent us into a recession. Not Biden.
TRUMP.
Biden pulled the country out of a recession. Jerome Powell, the Fed Chief, wants a recession, but Biden’s economy has resisted it.
Also, you keep parrotting FoxNews propaganda about spending producing the inflation we’ve seen, but that is incorrect. Inflation is occurring around the industrial world and is far higher in a number of countries. Supply chain problems, restarting the economy after the collapse under Trump (you may have missed it but the US was in freefall from March 2020 through early 2021), etc. led to the inflation problems we’ve seen.
That said, inflation has been abating since last year. Gas prices have gone down; housing prices have gone down; retail prices have not, but that is in part because of corporate greed. At any rate, you are yet again letting Don the Con off the hook (“egomaniac”). He is far more and far worse than that. You may have joined his cult, but if not, wake up!
JaredNorthcutt30
Biden ignored the warning signs of a recession during the first half of his administration. I agree about Trump jumpstarting this mess. However, it was the Biden administration who repeatedly ignored warning issues and parroted ‘nothing to see here’ jargon on the political roundtable circuit. And then, we have Krysten Sinema who says that the Biden administration lacks a coherent plan on the border crisis and/or is withholding information to change the course of the upcoming election. At the end of the day, both prospects are harmful for the American people. That’s why you see polls like the WaPo/ABC News poll where Trump and DeSantis are both leading Biden. Independent voters like myself. These are the poor choices before me. I’m tired of playing this game year after year. One party wants to medically transition children (WHO CANNOT CONSENT). The other party has a game show host.
tennman
She hates gay people because she hates being gay herself.
abfab
Oh please let that not be the case.
Brian
That’s awfully twisted to blame gay people for anti-gay laws.
She’s straight. She’s a bigot because she has been brainwashed by her religion — which she got from her bigoted dad. In order to reduce hatred, we need to get honest about what Christianity does to people. When you deny that, you’re not helping.
Kangol2
This sow is lying through her snout, as usual!
abfab
And thanks to people like Sarah Huckabee, some things never change in Arkansas.

Winner, 2022 J.G. Ragsdale Book Award, Arkansas Historical Association
The Ku Klux Klan established a significant foothold in Arkansas in the 1920s, boasting more than 150 state chapters and tens of thousands of members at its zenith. Propelled by the prominence of state leaders such as Grand Dragon James Comer and head of Women of the KKK Robbie Gill Comer, the Klan established Little Rock as a seat of power second only to Atlanta. In The Ku Klux Klan in 1920s Arkansas, Kenneth C. Barnes traces this explosion of white nationalism and its impact on the state’s development.
Barnes shows that the Klan seemed to wield power everywhere in 1920s Arkansas. Klansmen led businesses and held elected offices and prominent roles in legal, medical, and religious institutions, while the women of the Klan supported rallies and charitable activities and planned social gatherings where cross burnings were regular occurrences. Inside their organization, Klan members bonded during picnic barbeques and parades and over shared religious traditions. Outside of it, they united to direct armed threats, merciless physical brutality, and torrents of hateful rhetoric against individuals who did not conform to their exclusionary vision.
By the mid-1920s, internal divisions, scandals, and an overzealous attempt to dominate local and state elections caused Arkansas’s Klan to fall apart nearly as quickly as it had risen. Yet as the organization dissolved and the formal trappings of its flamboyant presence receded, the attitudes the Klan embraced never fully disappeared. In documenting this history, Barnes shows how the Klan’s early success still casts a long shadow on the state to this day.

OmG….JaredNorthcutt30…I promised myself I wasn’t going to give you the satisfaction of any attention for which you are so obviously desperate…but then I saw that you actually let a homeless woman sleep in your kitchen! I mean, WOW! You are a true philanthropist…surely there’s some sort of medal or national award or honour the country can bestow upon you?
Seriously,..that’s some genuine Mother Theresa type schizz you got going on there!
You deserve recognition for that! Such humanity is truly moving…not unlike the tongue firmly planted in my cheek ??

I answered the poster’s question. I wasn’t asking for a medal. It’s a simple call and response.

And a waste of time.

And Oliver Northcutt…you can bring up Gavin Newsome all you want………he still won’t introduce you to Kimberly Gillfold, your fantasy girl.

just today he called 911 on a person who was in traffic and homeless nd helped this woman sleep in her kitchen. We NOW KNOW WHO HAS THIS ACCOUNT — George Santos. I couldn’t remember his last name so put in “lying gop rep from NYC” and his name came right up

Recall the evening VP Pence went to NYC to see HAMILTON? That is exactly how Rebublicans who visit here will be welcomed.

I’ve never been to Arkansas, although I’ve driven through it once. Originally from Appalachia, I wanted to like it. We drove by Little Rock and seriously thought of stopping at President Clinton’s Library but were trying to beat a snowstorm and didn’t. We stopped at a rest station and found it charmingly rustic and friendly. Then Sarah Effing Huckabee Sanders was elected governor. I remember seeing her as the face of Trump’s administration. Mean, dirty hair, deformed ear, nasty answers, any lack of truth or decorum. She doesn’t look like Arkansas felt. I’m sure no one will be disappointed that places to spend time on my bucket list no longer includes Arkansas. May God be with the marginalized communities this woman will continue to insult and demean, and if I never see or hear her name ever again, I will die a happy person.

Eureka Springs is the gayest town in the state, by far! I’d like to see it.

Ummmmmm, okay.

As I’ve said, I’ve been there. Arkansas does have some nice spots. The Walton boutique art museum is very nice. But Arkansas is a very poor state. With a long racist history. A branch of the KKK is or at least headquartered there. It trails nearby states–Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, etc. in a lot of categories, and not in a good way. Huckabeast should be attending to the state’s issues, but she’s a nepo baby ideologue with a track record of stunting and lying. Arkansans voted for her, though, so they’re stuck with her!

What do you expect from Honey Boo-Boo’s twin sister, Honey Poo-Poo?

California is the most populous state, by far. That’s why it’s easy to find Californians in all of the other states. It’s just a simple statistical thing. It’s not because anyone actually thinks Arkansas is such a great place.
abfab
Exactly, but try explaining that to Honey Boobs twin sister. And besides, Texas really is the state to live in LOL……………I hear it’s wonderful this time of year.
