Actor Sean Hayes delighted fans with a snap of himself and Eric McCormack in Chicago yesterday.

McCormack and Hayes found fame playing Will Truman and Jack McFarland in the long-running, gay-themed sitcom, Will & Grace.

Hayes captioned the pic, “This incredible man surprised me tonight by coming to my play, ‘Good Night, Oscar’ here in Chicago. I love you, Eric. ❤️”

Will & Grace ran originally on NBC from 1998 until 2006. It won a huge following for its groundbreaking, mainstream portrayal of gay characters. The show returned for a reboot in 2017, and run for another three seasons, up until 2020.

Besides Will & Grace, McCormack has recently appeared in the Netflix show, Atypical. Hayes starred in the 2020 movie, Lazy Susan. He’s starring in the play Good Night, Oscar at the Goodman Theater until the end of this month. Hayes plays the actor and concert pianist Oscar Levant.

Among those to comment on the pic of Hayes and McCormack was fellow Will & Grace co-star Debra Messing, who simply said, “The BEST!!!!”

Another follower summed up the feeling of many, saying, “We allll love seeing you guys together in any capacity 😍😍”
